SOSA currently has five district assessors, two district instructors, and six mentors in their ranks.
Supporting and helping direct this work is the SOSA Match Officials Development Committee.
In addition to the local work, Ontario Soccer is beginning a new Long Term Officials Development (LTOD) plan. LTOD will provide a standards-based education and development program, through strong
leadership, inclusivity and support. All aspects of the Match Official Development Program will be strengthened, as Development Support Team members, Match Officials and the game will benefit from a ground breaking development and training program.
As an important part of the rollout of LTOD, Ontario Soccer will be hosting Regional LTOD Information Sessions across the province, including one in Kingston on March 28, 2017. RSVP for this session.
The Kingston session will be held at the Ambassador Conference Centre, Lisbon Room (1550 Princess St., Kingston, K7M 9E3) from 7pm -9pm.
The OSA has provided an informational poster, and for more information, please see the Ontario Soccer website.
